What started as a stressful holiday, including a 4hr flight delay, missed connection in Toronto, and 2 hours at LAX in which the airline wanted to bump us to a flight 24 hrs later. In the end, we got a direct flight from a sister airline and arrived in Copenhagen 2 hrs earlier than originally planned. Took the metro from the airport to our hotel, and as we left the metro this first image is what welcomed us to Copenhagen. Internally, Ice Cube’s “It Was a Good Day” played in my head as I knew Copenhagen would not disappoint. Had incredible food, gorgeous weather, and felt at ease in a city that is considered one of the happiest places to live in. I felt welcomed peace that we desperately lack in the USA. This 1 of 4 cities visited on this trip. Up next on the blog will be Amsterdam, Hamburg & Berlin. Safe travels friends.
