Vero & Hector // Whittier | Country Club Wedding

Vero & Hector’s wedding was nothing short of amazing. After the wedding while driving the thirty-seven miles back home to Orange County I had a grin on my face that could have reached the OC from LA County. Right there in the car I just knew the images of their wedding would be something for generations to love. And I love that feeling, the feeling that I captured the timeless grace, elegance & beauty of the happiest day for a couple. I love making that connection with my clients and I want to thank Vero & Hector for giving me the opportunity.  because without your love & commitment for each other; none of this would be possible.

P.S. – I completely love the venue. The California Country Club was such a great backdrop for this amazing wedding. They had some amazing customer service. The employees were great sports driving us around the golf course so we could get our shots. Kudos on the staff.

  • Wow! What a wedding. You did a great job here. they will be stoked for sure!!

  • I’m not just taken by the fact that your photographs are finished to a high quality Luis; I’m gripped by the meaning you weave within them, with the content. Time approaching, people waiting, the connection between a bride as she prepares and years of support from her family. This is a great deal more than pictorial recording of how people looked; it’s the story of a magical day.

Jessica & Tony // Universal Studios | Los Angeles Wedding

A few weeks ago I helped  in photographing Jessica & Tony’s wedding.  Jessica & Tony were renewing their vows and finally having their blissful wedding. The best part of their wedding is that their lovely daughters were fortunate enough to see and enjoy the wedding with their parents.  You could tell how excited and happy the three girls were to partake in the day’s activities.

The ceremony was held at Christ the King Catholic Church in Los Angeles, and I have to admit it’s one of the most lovely churches I’ve had the pleasure to photograph.  Afterward we headed to the Beverly Garland Hotel by Universal Studios for portraits & the reception.

Thanks to social media and specifically Facebook I’ve become more acquainted with Jessica & Tony.  I love how they are passionate about sports just like me. Those who know me, know that I can be a tad crazy when it comes to basketball, tennis, & the World Cup. I lost count the times we commented back & forth due to the World Cup. LOL. It’s the little things like this that really makes me love my job and I’m thankful for each wedding I’ve been a part of.

It was my pleasure to be apart of their wedding and I hope they cherish their images for generations to come.

  • Very nice documentory photos!

  • WOW! It’s hard to process a whole wedding in B/W but you nailed it!

  • Gorgeous black and white processing!

  • This is outstanding Luis, I love the decision to process them all in black & white. Breaks it down & showcases your strong compositions.

  • Good job Luis, I love all the kid shots, adds to the fun feeling of the day!

  • I really like the photos that show how powerful this dude is. It goes above and beyond normal storytelling.

  • Love the hand shot. Great set overall!

  • I’m digging the black and white! Looks great! Love the fact they had a wedding to renew the vows too! Very cool.

Karina & Omar // Santa Ana | Costa Mesa Wedding

Sorry for the delays, but I finally get to share the photographs from Karina & Omar’s wedding.  If you read my previous post you know how much I love wedding band shots that I figured I would share one more.

I had a great time photographing their wedding and I want to thank my team for helping me out through the wedding. Karina, Omar, and their bridal party were a blast to work with, their joy & easygoing attitude help make the fourteen hour wedding day go by like a breeze.  Thank you guys for letting me be apart of your special day.

P.S. – Special thanks to my assistant Hector, he is the best assistant a photographer could have. His friendship & hard work during this wedding were priceless. Thanks for having my back.   :)
