When I met Iris & John for the first time I knew I was in for an amazing experience. Iris & John have this amazing energy that is so contagious that you can’t help but to feel more livelier & joyful after hanging out with them.
Iris & John met at UCI, both majoring in Biology and also having some of the same friends. Their paths were bound to cross and they became friends. The friendship manifested itself after attending the same classes, studying for the same finals and hanging out with friends. And like most love stories based in friendship, boy falls for the girl and the girl has no idea. I thought it was amazingly cute and fitting for such a remarkable couple.
One night John mustard up the courage and asked Iris out to dance and Iris thought nothing of it, but wonder why John was acting a little different, a little shy, and little timid. Trust me, once you meet John he is the complete opposite of all those things. He is funny, confident & outgoing. The night ended and this love story was put on hold. Soon after John told Iris how he felt and they began dating and the rest is history. Iris may have not gotten the initial clue but gesture was still sweet and in the end they ended up together. I thought the story was adorable and I couldn’t be any happier for the both of them.

I love the next two images, this is the exact spot where John notice Iris for the first time. John was sitting down and he saw Iris talking to one of his friends.

Vero & Hector’s wedding was nothing short of amazing. After the wedding while driving the thirty-seven miles back home to Orange County I had a grin on my face that could have reached the OC from LA County. Right there in the car I just knew the images of their wedding would be something for generations to love. And I love that feeling, the feeling that I captured the timeless grace, elegance & beauty of the happiest day for a couple. I love making that connection with my clients and I want to thank Vero & Hector for giving me the opportunity. because without your love & commitment for each other; none of this would be possible.

P.S. – I completely love the venue. The California Country Club was such a great backdrop for this amazing wedding. They had some amazing customer service. The employees were great sports driving us around the golf course so we could get our shots. Kudos on the staff.

A few weeks ago I helped in photographing Jessica & Tony’s wedding. Jessica & Tony were renewing their vows and finally having their blissful wedding. The best part of their wedding is that their lovely daughters were fortunate enough to see and enjoy the wedding with their parents. You could tell how excited and happy the three girls were to partake in the day’s activities.
The ceremony was held at Christ the King Catholic Church in Los Angeles, and I have to admit it’s one of the most lovely churches I’ve had the pleasure to photograph. Afterward we headed to the Beverly Garland Hotel by Universal Studios for portraits & the reception.
Thanks to social media and specifically Facebook I’ve become more acquainted with Jessica & Tony. I love how they are passionate about sports just like me. Those who know me, know that I can be a tad crazy when it comes to basketball, tennis, & the World Cup. I lost count the times we commented back & forth due to the World Cup. LOL. It’s the little things like this that really makes me love my job and I’m thankful for each wedding I’ve been a part of.
It was my pleasure to be apart of their wedding and I hope they cherish their images for generations to come.
